The instructional materials reviewed for Grades 6 through 8 do not meet the expectations for alignment to the CCSSM and Gateway 1. The instructional materials partially meet the expectations for focus and coherence in each of the three grade levels. Grade 7 does not devote the large majority of instructional time to the major work of the grade. Grades 6 and 8 do not meet the expectations for coherence. Instructional materials in this grade band were not reviewed for Gateway 2.
